Crab
Preschool · 3–5A sideways-scuttling crab with a wide shell, two snapping claws, six legs and eyes on stalks. There is more to count here than on most toddler pages — three legs on each side and two big pincers — which makes it a favourite for children who like a bit of a challenge. The shell is one large oval, so the page still finishes quickly. Coloring a crab is an easy way into talk about the beach, rock pools, and animals that walk sideways. Try counting the legs out loud before you start, then again at the end. Print it on A4 or US Letter, or color it online with tap-to-fill.
