Crab
Preschool · 3–5A sideways-scuttling crab with a wide shell, two snapping claws, six legs and eyes on stalks. There is more to count here than on most toddler pages — three legs on each side and two big pincers — which makes it a favourite for children who like a bit of a challenge. The shell is one large oval, so the page still finishes quickly. Coloring a crab is an easy way into talk about the beach, rock pools, and animals that walk sideways.
