Ankylosaurus
Preschool · 3–5An ankylosaurus built like a little tank — a low armored back, short stumpy legs, spikes along each side, and a heavy club on the end of its tail. The armor plates are drawn as separate ovals across the back, which turns this into a page about pattern as much as color: fill them all the same, or make every plate different. The club tail is the detail children remember. Coloring an ankylosaurus is a natural way to talk about armor and protection, and about how a slow plant-eater defended itself. Print it on A4 or US Letter, or color it online with tap-to-fill.
