Taxi Coloring Page
Preschool · 3–5A city taxi with a sign on the roof and a row of buildings behind it. The car itself is a rounded, friendly shape with big wheel arches and a wide windscreen, and it is easy to colour — but the background is what makes this page worth more than ten minutes. There is a skyline of tower blocks with dozens of small windows, and a child who wants to fill every one of them can spend a long time doing it. That is a legitimate way to use the page and worth leaving them to. Taxis are also one of the few vehicles a young child can explain the purpose of, which makes this a better talking page than most. Print on A4 or US Letter, or colour it online. The sign on the roof is the detail that tells you what the car is, and it is the only writing on any page in this category — worth pointing at for a child who is starting to notice that letters mean things.
