Count and Trace the Number

A count-and-write worksheet that links numbers to real amounts. In each row, children count the shapes, then trace the matching number beside them — connecting the symbol to the quantity it represents. This is a key early-math step between reciting numbers and truly understanding them. Count the shapes out loud together, touching each one, before tracing.
