Friendly Alien Coloring Page
Toddler · 2–3A small, round, smiling alien with enormous eyes, two antennae and a patterned belly. This is the easiest page in the space category and deliberately so: the body is one big shape, the eyes are two more, and a two-year-old can finish it. It is also the page where colour is completely free. Nobody knows what an alien looks like, so green is a convention rather than a fact, and a purple one with orange spots is not wrong — which is a genuinely useful thing for a child who has been told that the sky is blue and grass is green to hear out loud. The spots on the belly are separate shapes, so there is an easy way in to using more than one colour. Print on A4 or US Letter, or colour it online. The antennae are the one feature every child draws on an alien and no two children draw the same way, so they are a good place to let a page stop being yours and start being theirs.
