Space Station Coloring Page
Kids · 5–8A space station with long solar panel wings spread either side of a stack of docking modules. The panels are grids of small rectangles and they take up most of the page, which makes this a repetitive page in the good sense — there is a pattern to work through, and children who like that will colour every cell a slightly different shade. The modules in the middle are cylinders with hatches and antennae. It is worth mentioning that people live on one of these: it goes round the Earth about sixteen times a day, and somebody is asleep on it right now. That fact does more for a child's interest in this page than anything in the outline does. Print on A4 or US Letter. The whole thing was carried up in pieces and bolted together in orbit, which is why it looks assembled rather than designed — a detail children spot before adults do.
