Jupiter Coloring Page

Jupiter as a large sphere wrapped in swirling bands of cloud, with the Great Red Spot as a big oval near the middle and a faint ring crossing in front. The bands are the appeal: there are a dozen of them, each a separate curving stripe running the width of the planet, and filling each one a different shade produces a result that looks like the photographs for very little effort. The Red Spot is a storm wider than the Earth that has been turning for centuries, which is the single best fact in this entire category and the reason this page is worth printing over another planet. Jupiter really does have rings, unlike Earth — faint ones, made of dust. Print on A4 or US Letter. Jupiter is also the reason the night sky has a very bright star-like point in it some months of the year, which is not a star at all.
