Ask a child what color a horse is and they will tell you brown. Ask what color a dragon is and something changes — they stop retrieving and start deciding. - No. Everything here is drawn friendly — rounded shapes, soft faces, no teeth or menace. These are dragons for a four-year-old, not for a fantasy novel cover.

- Three to eight, with the widest span of any category here. The wand and hat pages suit a three-year-old; the castle will hold an eight-year-old's attention for a good while.
- Are these original designs?
